Imaginario 06 Comic Con in Argentina

This past weekend I attended the Imaginario 06 comic book and fantasy convention in Santiago del Estero, Argentina.

Imaginario is the most important con of the northern part of Argentina.

This was their fifth year and to celebrate it, they invited several top Argentine creators: Lito Fernández, Carlos Meglia, Rubén Meriggi, Robin Wood, Carlos Trillo, Darío Brizuela, Germán Erramouspe and Quique Alcatena.

I had the fortune to meet them personally, hear their experiences and advices, get their autographs, and a Hulk drawing (my favorite character) by Carlos Meglia.

I specially treasure Lito Fernández' speech about creating comics, and the invaluable feedback about my artwork by Fernández, Meriggi, Brizuela and Meglia (Carlos even walked me to a stand and pointed me a book where I would get tips to enhance my inking: Torpedo by Jordi Bernet).

Finally, I'd like to say that it was nice meeting Diego Paris, the con organizer, a real nice person and a true fan of comics, and Javier Paredes, Argentine's Wolverine, the best Hugh Jackman* look-a-like you can get!

With Javier Paredes, Argentina's Wolverine!
