Now you can read my Omega Chase comic book at Drunk Duck, the webcomics community that hosts, as they say, some of the best comic books and strips on the web.
Omega Chase is written by talented Comics Bulletin Keith Dallas (United States), pencils and inks are by yours truly (Argentina), colors by (among others) painting-marvel Meha Nathan (India), and lettering by font-sensation Thomas Mauer (Germany).
As you see, Omega Chase is a TRUE international team effort! Four countries, one comic!
And what's really interesting is that we never saw each other: We have only communicated via email since early 2005.
Yes, times have changed for artists.
Keith met comics living-legend Joe Kubert recently at a special dinner during the New York Comic Con. Keith told Joe about our interesting "world-appart" way of working; Joe was amazed.
In the past, and for decades, Joe had to drive from New Jersey to New York City to deliver his original pages. Nowadays, and while Omega Chase was in the making, I sent my drawings via email from Argentina to Thomas in Germany, who formatted the pages and sent them via email to Meha in India, who sent them back via YouSendIt.com to Keith in the United States. The power of the web!
